RDF Infantry Brigade completes Advanced Infantry Course

The Chief of Defence Staff of the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF), Gen MK Mubarakh, presided over the graduation ceremony of brigade-level military training held at the Gabiro Military Training Centre.

The brigade had completed five months and one week of intensive Advanced Infantry Course training, designed to enhance the operational readiness and combat capabilities of ground forces.

In his address, Gen Mubarakh commended the graduating officers and soldiers, emphasizing the critical role such training plays in strengthening Rwanda’s defence capacity. He noted that the course equips troops with advanced military skills essential for safeguarding national sovereignty and countering any threats to the country’s security.

Beyond tactical and operational knowledge, the CDS highlighted the importance of discipline—one of the core values of the RDF. He explained that the training reinforced principles of professionalism, integrity, and duty, which guide RDF personnel in fulfilling their responsibilities.
