Manager Murindahabi Irénée explained that the artists are fully focused on their Vancouver debut, with plans to expand into other cities in Canada under consideration.
Murindahabi shared, “Our priority is Vancouver. We’re still in discussions for other locations, as careful planning is essential. Our goal is to link the artists with international communities who cherish their music and amplify their reach.”
The tour’s name, ‘Yebo,’ reflects their acclaimed new song while showcasing their intent to embrace Swahili speakers in their worship experience.
He noted, “This isn’t just for Rwandans. We are inviting Swahili-speaking audiences, making it clear we’re here to worship together and bring them into our shared music journey.”
Sisters Vestine and Dorcas began their gospel music careers in 2018, transitioning from performing in church to producing their widely celebrated songs.
Their hits, such as "Adonai," "Nahawe Ijambo," "Ibuye," among others, emphasize unwavering faith and the extraordinary ways in which God works in our lives.
While still early in their career, the duo has performed numerous concerts in Rwanda and internationally, including evangelistic work in Burundi. Now, they’re broadening their horizons by creating gospel songs in Swahili to captivate audiences worldwide.
As emerging icons in Rwanda’s gospel music scene, Vestine and Dorcas continue to make waves with their deeply spiritual performances and devotion to spreading empowering messages of hope and faith.
