American YouTuber IShowSpeed arrives in Rwanda
American content creator Darren Jason Watkins Jr., widely known on social media as IShowSpeed, has arrived in Rwanda, continuing his ongoing tour across the African continent.
According to available information, IShowSpeed landed in Kigali on the night of Friday, December 9, 2025, before immediately traveling to Musanze District in Rwanda’s Northern Province.
The YouTuber, who arrived in Rwanda from Zambia, is expected on Saturday to visit Volcanoes National Park, one of the country’s most iconic tourist destinations, globally renowned for its mountain gorillas and rich biodiversity.
As part of his schedule in Rwanda, IShowSpeed will later travel from Musanze back to Kigali, where he plans to explore parts of the city, including a motorcycle tour. He is also expected to attend a women’s football match at Amahoro Stadium, where Rayon Sports Women FC will face Indahangarwa Women FC, highlighting his interest in local sports and culture.
On December 21, 2025, IShowSpeed officially launched his tour dubbed “Speed Does Africa Tour”, a project through which he livestreams and shares real-time experiences from various African countries with his millions of followers on YouTube and Twitch.
So far, his African journey has taken him to South Africa, Eswatini, Zimbabwe, and Zambia. He is also expected to visit several other countries, including Mozambique, Namibia, Botswana, Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria, Ghana, Algeria, Morocco, Kenya, among others.
