RSF claims full control of Karab al-Toum in northern Sudan

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) said Monday they have taken full control of Karab al-Toum, a strategic area in northern Sudan along the Alarba’een Road.
In videos shared on RSF-affiliated social media accounts, fighters are seen in the area, declaring it fully “liberated” from General al-Burhan’s forces (SAF) and allied Islamist movements.
Karab al-Toum holds tactical significance due to its location along a major transit route and its role as a land customs hub for vehicles entering Sudan from Libya.
