RwandAir crowned best airline in Africa

Rwanda’s national carrier, RwandAir, has been named Best Airline in Africa at the prestigious 2025 World Airline Awards, presented by international aviation research firm Skytrax. The award ceremony took place in Paris, France, honoring the top-performing airlines worldwide based on customer satisfaction.
RwandAir expressed deep appreciation for the recognition, attributing the achievement to the trust and loyalty of its passengers.

RwandAir currently serves nearly 30 destinations across 22 countries in Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. RwandAir is also actively investing in aviation talent through its pilot training program, which receives more than 2,000 applicants annually.
The Skytrax awards, established in 1999, are based on extensive global surveys of passenger experiences across more than 350 airlines. In the 2025 edition, RwandAir emerged as a standout African carrier in a highly competitive field.
Global Rankings
RwandAir’s strategic partner, Qatar Airways, was ranked the world’s number one airline, securing the top spot for the seventh time, followed by Singapore Airlines. Other high performers included Delta Air Lines and Turkish Airlines, which led among European carriers.
