Abderrahim Taleb Reported as Potential New Coach for APR FC

Moroccan coach Abderrahim Taleb, linked to APR FC, brings experience from top African clubs. Official confirmation awaits contract signing.

Reports broke on Monday afternoon through Bruno Taifa, a respected sports journalist known for his updates on APR FC, the Rwandan Army Football Club. Taifa disclosed that discussions are complete, and Moroccan coach Abderrahim Taleb is poised to become the next head coach of APR FC, a club famous for its black and white jerseys.

Abderrahim Taleb, born on September 10, 1963, in Casablanca, Morocco, began his career as a football player. In 2007, he shifted to coaching, starting with Moroccan outfit Moghreb Tetouan. His extensive coaching journey has solidified his reputation in African football.

Over the years, Taleb has managed 12 notable teams, including top-tier clubs like Wydad Casablanca, RSB Berkane, and FAR Rabat. He currently serves as the head coach of Difaa Hassani El Jadidi, a team competing in Morocco’s second division league. His invaluable experience makes him a strong candidate to lead APR FC.

Despite Taifa's strong claim that Taleb will take the helm at APR FC, Brigadier General Deo Rusanganwa, the club’s chairman, clarified during a press briefing that while an agreement has been reached with a prospective coach, the official name will only be revealed once the contract is formally signed.

Abderrahim Taleb's candidacy follows earlier rumors pointing to Argentine coach Miguel Angel Gamondi as a potential contender for the same role within APR FC.
