US forces rescue downed F-15 crew member missing in Iran

On Sunday, U.S. President Donald Trump expressed strong satisfaction and praised the American military after announcing that a U.S. fighter jet pilot who had gone down in Iran had been found alive and safe.

In a statement shared on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump revealed that the pilot, identified as a colonel, had been located in a “mountainous desert area” and successfully rescued despite being actively pursued by Iranian forces.

“The pilot was never truly alone,” Trump wrote, emphasizing that both he and senior military officials had been closely monitoring the situation around the clock.

He further disclosed that, under his direct orders, U.S. forces deployed multiple aircraft equipped with some of the most advanced and lethal weaponry in the world to carry out the rescue mission.

Trump also confirmed that a second pilot involved in the incident had been rescued earlier.
