Iran's Revolutionary Guards vow to 'pursue and kill' Netanyahu
Iran’s powerful military force, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has issued a stark warning against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, vowing on Sunday that its forces would “pursue and kill him with full force” as war between Iran and Israel-USA continue to intensify.
The statement, released on Sunday, comes amid growing speculation surrounding Netanyahu’s whereabouts. The Israeli leader has not appeared publicly for nearly six days, fueling widespread rumours on social media suggesting he may have been killed, though there has been no official confirmation from Israeli authorities.
In a separate development, Iran’s army said it had carried out drone strikes against targets inside Israel. According to a statement reported by the state-run Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Iranian forces targeted security installations linked to Israeli law enforcement.
The statement said the strikes were directed at the headquarters of the special Israeli police unit known as Lahav 433 as well as the Gilat Defense Systems satellite communications centre.
Iranian officials described the facilities as part of what they called the “security infrastructure of the Zionist regime,” claiming the drone attacks were “powerful and precise.”
Israeli authorities have not immediately confirmed the claims.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump, the President of the United States, said he was not prepared to support a deal with Iran aimed at ending the conflict, arguing that the current terms were insufficient.
“I’m not willing to agree to a deal with Iran to end the war because the terms aren’t good enough yet,” Trump said, suggesting Washington would maintain pressure on Tehran.
