RSSB Tigers Make History, Crowned 2026 BAL Champions
Rwandan side RSSB Tigers were crowned champions of the Basketball Africa League (BAL) 2026 after overcoming Angola’s Petro de Luanda in a nail-biting final at BK Arena on Sunday.
American guard Craig Randall II starred again, contributing 33 points to the home side’s victory in the final.
He was named BAL 2026 Most Valuable Player (MVP) beating teammate Mangok Mathiang as well as Petro de Luanda duo Childe Dundao and Pedro Gakou to the top prize awarded to the best player of the tournament.
