Ashton Hall Arrives in Rwanda, Credits Ashton Small for Introducing Him to the Country
American social media personality and fitness influencer Ashton Hall arrived in Rwanda in the early hours of Friday alongside Rwandan content creator Ashton Small, popularly known as Kagarara, after completing the Benin leg of their ongoing tour across several African countries.
The group landed at Kigali International Airport at around 2:00 a.m., where they were welcomed by a large crowd of journalists and fans despite the late-night arrival.
Speaking shortly after landing, Hall expressed his excitement about visiting Rwanda for the first time, saying the trip was made possible through his friendship with Kagarara.
"To be honest, I didn't know Rwanda before. It was Ashton Small who introduced me to the country," Hall said.
The American influencer also encouraged Rwandans to remain committed to their ambitions, urging them not to be discouraged by criticism or skepticism.
"Keep dreaming big and never give up. Don't listen to people who discourage you or call you crazy because of your dreams," he told supporters.
Hall also praised Kagarara's rapid rise on social media, particularly on Instagram, where the Rwandan creator has amassed more than 300,000 followers in recent weeks. He called on Rwandans to continue supporting Kagarara by following his online platforms.
Kagarara's growing popularity accelerated after he invited Hall to visit Rwanda in a video shared on June 16, 2026, highlighting the talents of Rwandans living with disabilities. Since then, his collaboration with Hall has significantly expanded his audience across social media.
Hall, who is widely recognized for his fitness and running content, recently announced his goal of helping Kagarara reach one million Instagram followers while also supporting him in other projects.
Rwanda is the latest stop on the team's African tour, following visits to Ghana, Cameroon, Nigeria, and Benin.
