Gen. Nyakarundi Represents Rwanda at Major Global Defense Expo in France

PARIS — The Chief of Staff of the Rwanda Land Force, Major General Vincent Nyakarundi, held talks with General Pierre Schill, Chief of Staff of the French Army, on the sidelines of Eurosatory 2026, the international defense and security exhibition taking place in Paris.

The meeting occurred as both military leaders attended the globally recognized exhibition, which showcases advanced equipment, technology, and innovations for land and air defense forces.

According to information released following the discussions, the two commanders focused on ways to further enhance military cooperation and strengthen the longstanding relationship between the armed forces of Rwanda and France.

The talks highlighted the importance of continued collaboration between the two countries in defense and security matters, as well as opportunities for expanding partnerships in areas of mutual interest.
