AFC/M23 Condemns Alleged Air Assaults on Densely Populated Areas of Minembwe
Since 8 a.m. this Friday, May 15, 2026, the Kinshasa regime has ordered the massive deployment of heavily armed combat helicopters from Kalemie to participate in the ongoing strikes against Minembwe and its surroundings.
This military reinforcement adds to the arsenal already used against the densely populated areas of Minembwe, including combat drones, heavy artillery, and Sukhoi-25 fighter jets.
This military campaign of extreme gravity confirms the manifest and criminal intent of the Kinshasa regime to wipe Minembwe off the map and annihilate its population, under the specious pretext that it benefits from the support and political cover of certain countries in the international community.
This sense of impunity, fueled by external complicity and a scandalous international silence, further encourages Kinshasa to continue its murderous operations against innocent civilian populations.
AFC-M23 said it will reiterate its unwavering commitment to defend and protect civilian populations by all necessary means
