Yves Mugunga joins Saudi Arabian side Al-Selmiyah

Striker Yves Mugunga has left Gorilla FC for Al-Selmiyah Club of the fourth tier division in Saudi Arabia.

Mugunga departed Kigali on Friday morning, aboard Turkish Airlines, ahead of completing the move.

He had signed a one-year deal with Gorilla FC during the just-closed transfer window but he had clause that he would be allowed join the Asian club as they reach an agreement.

Al-Selmiyah Club was playing in the 3rd division during the 2023/24 season but it was relegated to the fourth tier league. The club is located in Al-Kharj City, Riyadh.

Apart from Gorilla FC, Mugunga played for various teams in Rwanda including APR FC and SC Kiyovu.
