The brutality against Congolese Tutsis is once again occuring atrociously
The Congolese Tutsis were again subjected to supernatural brutality, where in the Rutshuru Territory, it is reported that more than 200 of their cows were killed by armed groups including FDLR-NYATURA, who slaughtered them.
On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, this heinous atrocity was carried out in Rutshuru Territory, where more than 200 milking cows owned by Congolese Tutsis were slaughtered.
The informant of this brutality said: “More than 200 Tutsi cows were killed on the Tongo-Kalengera road by the FDLR-NYATURA.
These instances of supernatural violence shouldn’t be condoned at all, he said. The terrible part is that Nyatura is one of the group’s members who is adamant about defending the nation with Wazalendo, who support the Congolese government.
This action also shocked M23 group, where its Political Spokesperson, Lawrence Kanyuka, asked the local authorities to do something about these brutal acts that continue to be done to Congolese Tutsis.
He said, “M23 is calling on the local leaders to intervene to stop the ongoing genocide, and the killing of cattles by the Kinshasa Government’s army.”
