Nishimwe Naomie, crowned Miss Rwanda in 2020, has firmly dismissed rumors about the potential cancellation of her upcoming wedding to Michael Tesfay. The rumors, which have been circulating on social media, allege issues that could disrupt the event scheduled for December 29, 2024.
Addressing the allegations, Naomie took to her social media platforms with a decisive response: “These are Satan’s attacks, in the name of Jesus!” Her statement followed claims from a social media user suggesting that her wedding plans had been halted.
The rumors have sparked heated discussions online, with some claiming that the wedding could be threatened by allegations of infidelity involving her fiancé. Naomie, however, has not wavered in her stance, dismissing the speculation as baseless and reaffirming her commitment to Tesfay.
The couple’s journey began in April 2022, when their relationship first became public. Since then, they have been spotted together at various events and projects, both in Rwanda and internationally, showcasing a strong bond. Their engagement in January 2024 further solidified their plans to start a life together.
