Health officials are urging the public to remain vigilant due to the severity of the virus, which can cause a range of debilitating symptoms, including:

  • High fever

  • Muscle aches
  • Vomiting and diarrhea

To curb the spread, the RBC is advising citizens to avoid close contact with anyone exhibiting symptoms and to follow strict hygiene protocols. The Ministry of Health also encourages individuals experiencing any of the symptoms to seek immediate medical attention by visiting the nearest health facility or calling the emergency hotline at 114.

This outbreak serves as a stark reminder of the importance of public health measures and awareness. The authorities continue to emphasize the need for rapid response and cooperation from the community to prevent further escalation.
