Aly-Enzo Hamon, a 22-year-old Rwandan Defender currently playing for Angoulême Charente FC in France, is among the promising players being considered for selection to the Rwanda national team, Amavubi, ahead of friendly matches scheduled for June 2025.
Enzo, who operates as a central or defensive midfielder (typically wearing jersey number 6 or 8), is one of the new names being evaluated to inject fresh talent into Rwanda’s senior national squad. Although he previously represented France at the U-17 level, the player is eligible to play for Rwanda, his country of origin.
Sources within the Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) indicate that the national team will play two friendly matches against Algeria this June. One of the games will be an official FIFA-recognized match against Algeria’s senior national team, while the second will be a non-official match featuring Rwanda and Algeria’s U-23 sides.
The official squad list for these fixtures is expected to be released in the coming days. Football analysts and fans alike are closely watching to see whether Enzo will earn his first senior national team call-up, given his impressive performances in France and his dual eligibility.
